Hillary Clinton took offense at Donald Trump’s label for babies born in America to the parents of illegal aliens. Mrs. Clinton considers the term “anchor babies,” hateful. Her campaign released the following statement after Jeb Bush echoed Trump’s descriptive term:
“Jeb Bush tried to outdo Donald Trump and other Republican presidential candidates by doubling down on the hateful term ‘anchor baby’ when referring to the U.S. born children of immigrants. It’s a disgrace to see these candidates attack a group of American citizens who not only have the same rights as everybody else in this country but also represent the very values this country was built on.”
My purpose is not to debate the term or even offer an opinion on the label. My purpose is to point out the hypocrisy of the Democrat Party, particularly the Clinton political machine. When a reporter challenged Jeb Bush’s moniker, Mr. Bush fired back,
“You give me a better term and I’ll use it.”
Shortly after the testy exchange, Hillary Clinton responded via Twitter with other suggested handles:
How about “babies,” “children,” or “American Citizens.”
I find myself swallowing back bile as I say, she’s absolutely correct. Those little ones being born to “undocumented citizens” are definitely babies. No one in his or her right mind would debate the issue. Those little ones might also be referred to as “bundles of joy, “little angels” or “gifts from God.” All applicable and appropriate names for these tiny new entrants into the world.
So, my question to Hillary Clinton is, ‘What about Planned Parenthood?’
When a reporter first asked the former Secretary of State her opinion of the videos exposing the practices of the abortion industry giant, she responded,
“I have seen pictures from them and obviously find them disturbing.”
So, Hillary does have a heart….kind of. But her humaneness only goes so far.
When asked if she sided with the Republicans in their efforts to cut Federal Funding from Planned Parenthood, Hillary defended the entity saying,
“I think it is regrettable that Republicans are once again trying to undermine, even end those services that so many women have needed and taken advantage of. I think that it’s another effort by the Republicans to try to limit the health care options of women and we should not let them succeed once again.”
The “War on Women” rallying cry can only go so far. Recently, the Center for Medical Progress released video number 7. Holly O’Donnell, a former phlebotomist for Stem Express, shared she witnessed a baby born alive during an abortive surgery, and instead of offering the infant, life saving care, the tech proceeded to harvest the baby’s brain. With pained emotion, Ms. O’Donell said,
“His heart was beating….”
I’ve always considered abortion, murder. Many challenge my position, dubbing the developing life a “clump of tissue.” But when an abortion fails to kill the life of the child and that baby’s born with moving limbs and a beating heart, there’s now no debate. Cutting through the face to extract the brain is no longer harvesting byproducts of a baby ripped limb from limb in the womb, but is now a cold and calculated murder committed to line the pockets of Planned Parenthood. Unfortunately, these same funds funnel back into the campaign coffers of those who champion a woman’s right to choose.
Liberals claim to be the “Compassionate Party.” A political party committed to lifting up the downtrodden, championing the rights of the less fortunate and those forgotten by the mean old Republicans. However, Jesus said the following:
‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:40)
No one deserves the title, ‘Least of These’ more, than the innocent life conceived and developing in the womb. To defend their rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness should be considered an act of great compassion. And the only Party predominantly waging the war to defend those rights is the GOP.
Hillary’s empathies diminish when dollar signs are dangled. Hillary might have a bit of a heart, but that’s more than what can be said of the baby whose heart and brain ships to a research lab at Wisconsin University.
I hope one day Hillary finds THAT ‘disturbing’ as well.
