So, Hillary Wants to End Racism….

The recent shooting in Charleston, South Carolina has sparked cries from many to remove the Confederate flag from the State House Lawn.  Though no one can prove the flag precipitated Dylan Roof’s violent attack, Governor Nikki Haley challenged the State Legislators to do the right thing and remove the flag that offends those who believe the symbol incites violence and racial hatred against African Americans.  Of course politicians from both sides of the aisle are quick to give their opinion on the Confederate Flag, hoping to win political points with future voters.  One of those offering remarks was Democratic hopeful, Hillary Clinton.

Mrs. Clinton commented,

“I appreciate the actions begun yesterday by the governor and other leaders of South Carolina to remove the Confederate battle flag from the State House, recognizing it as a symbol of our nation’s racist past that has no place in our present or our future,” Clinton said. “It shouldn’t fly there, it shouldn’t fly anywhere.”

Some may consider her words admirable and worthy of support.  However, many fail to recognize that Hillary Clinton supports and champions one of the primary racist organizations in America, Planned Parenthood.

At a March 1925 international birth control gathering in New York City, a speaker warned of the menace posed by the “black” and “yellow” peril. The man was not a Nazi or Klansman; he was Dr. S. Adolphus Knopf, a member of Margaret Sanger’s American Birth Control League (ABCL), which along with other groups eventually became known as Planned Parenthood. (

In her book, Pivot of Civilization, Margaret Sanger described black people, immigrants, and poor people as

“…human weeds,’ ‘reckless breeders,’ ‘spawning… human beings who never should have been born.”

Sanger also believed, that for the purpose of racial “purification,” couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization.

In an article written in February 2012, Michelle Malkin writes,

“As she wrote in her autobiography, Sanger founded Planned Parenthood in 1916 “to stop the multiplication of the unfit.” This, she boasted, would be “the most important and greatest step towards race betterment.” While she oversaw the mass murder of black babies, Sanger cynically recruited minority activists to front her death racket. She conspired with eugenics financier and businessman Clarence Gamble to “hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities” to sell their genocidal policies as community health and welfare services.

Outright murder wouldn’t sell. But wrapping it under the egalitarian cloak of “women’s health” — and adorning it with the moral authority of black churches — would. Sanger and Gamble called their deadly campaign “The Negro Project.”  (Read More Here, “Goal of Planned Parenthood Founder“)

Sanger recruited black ministers to champion her goals and promote her ideas as ways to better a woman’s health.  However, her ideology was much more nefarious.  She once wrote in a letter,

“We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

Fast forward to 2009.  Hillary Clinton accepted Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award at the 2009 Planned Parenthood Honors Gala in Houston, Texas.  In her acceptance speech, Hillary Clinton said,

“I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision.  I am really in awe of her, there are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life.”

Does she mean weeding out poor black folks or forcing sterilization upon minority groups?  Or maybe she agrees wholeheartedly with Sanger on this excerpt from her book Pivot of Civilization…

The complex problems now confronting America as the result of the practice of reckless procreation are fast threatening to grow beyond human control. Everywhere we see poverty and large families going hand in hand. Those least fit to carry on the race are increasing most rapidly. People who cannot support their own offspring are encouraged by Church and State to produce large families. Many of the children thus begotten are diseased or feeble minded. Many become criminals. The burden of supporting these unwanted types has to be borne by the healthy elements of the nation. Funds that should be used to raise the standard of our civilization are diverted to the maintenance of those who should never have been born.  (Emphasis mine)

So, if Hillary Clinton finds the Confederate Flag racist, then certainly she should reconsider her support of eugenicist Margaret Sanger and her beloved Planned Parenthood.  But will that happen?  No, not as long as the mainstream media panders to her every whim and shields her from probing questions.  Sadly, for those who support Mrs. Clinton, they care not about truth, facts, experience, or her reputation.  Their only concern is to once again be a part of making history.

Unfortunately, that didn’t work out so well last time.

What Difference Does It Make?

What difference does it make?

This was the response Hillary spat when asked about the reason for an attack on an American Consulate in Benghazi.  When she callously responded in this manner, Republicans pounced.  And rightfully so.  Unfortunately, the lesser informed probably still Benghazi’s that specialty ice cream producer charging exorbitant prices for their tantalizing wares.  Our Country lost four American public servants and half the Country cares more about a government subsidized cell phone plan.

But, what difference does it make?

Lifesite News shared a story this week which literally turned my stomach.

Recently, Life Site News brought to light a disturbing practice implemented by an energy plant in Oregon.  The Covanta Waste-to-Energy Facility accepted medical waste containing the remains of aborted babies to aid in generating electricity.  After receiving national attention, Marion County Board Commissioner Janet Carlson said,

“We did not know this practice was  occurring until today.  We are taking immediate action and initiating discussions with Covanta Marion to make certain that this type of medical waste is not accepted in the future.”

Bu what difference does it make?

The Supreme Court ruled abortion legal 41 years ago.  Since then, over 53 million babies have been discarded as medical waste In the wake of the Roe V. Wade decision.  With sharp instruments and harsh chemicals, doctors rip the most innocent of life from the womb.  Why not recycle human tissue into electricity?  What difference does it make?

Our own President champions abortion, not wanting his own daughters to be one day “punished” by an unwanted baby.  He even supports the killing of an infant born alive in a botched abortion.  But really, what difference does it make?

Why do Americans shake their heads in disbelief when kids kill other kids over a pair of tennis shoes or a boy stabs to death a beautiful young lady for declining his invitation to prom?  From the conception of life, our culture breeds a society of death.  Then, as the child grows, public schools propagate the lie that humanity exists only because of accidental processes occurring over millions of years.  For 12 years, students are taught they’re nothing more than glorified apes.  Why should they be expected to act any different than warring and unpredictable animals?  But what difference does it make?

It makes much difference to God.

Psalm 139 shares,

“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be…”

The God of the universe knits people together in their mothers’ wombs, not as byproducts of evolutionary processes but as masterpieces with true purpose….a purpose far greater than being tossed into a medical waste heap.  When people see each other as God sees them, America can expect to see a decline in violence.  The Country can expect to see a spike in the respect of life from the cradle to the grave.   What difference does it make?

A whole heckuva lot to a Holy God.

National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers

Americans know how to celebrate.  Taking advantage of peoples’ propensity to party,   party stores sit nestled in strip malls everywhere.  These establishments carry everything from birthday candles and streamers, to larger items like kid popular inflatables.  As a Country, we celebrate holidays such as the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Some recognize lesser known days like “National Talk Like a Pirate Day” and “National Pancake Day.”  Sadly, some choose to honor occasions deserving no recognition, days that threaten to trigger God’s Hand of Judgment on America.  One such day is today, March 10, “National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers.”

In a speech last year, the President beseeched God to “Bless Planned Parenthood.”  Pro-choice advocates claim abortion providers and organizations like Planned Parenthood administer a service God blesses.  However, pro-life individuals disagree.  They argue,

“How could the God who fashions together life in the womb bless those responsible for destroying it.”

And that’s a good question.  The answer is, He can’t.

According to the Washington Times,

Laws and regulations setting higher standards and operating controls for clinics have forced many abortion providers to shut down in Texas and other states, greatly reducing the availability of abortions in large parts of the country.

In Alabama’s largest city of Birmingham, the last two abortion providers are not operating.  This populous city earns the recognition of being “abortion free.”

This push against abortion rights rattles the pro-choice point of view.  Abortion advocates recognize stricter abortion laws means a curb in abortions administered.  Lives saved.  Common sense teaches that’s a good thing, right?  Even Democrats say abortion should be

“Safe, legal, and rare.”

The efforts to shut down shoddy and unsanitary abortion clinics helps Democrats recognize that goal, right?  Well, fewer abortions does mean lives saved, but also money lost.

In the New Testament in the Book of Acts, Paul casts a demon out of young slave girl.  Instead of her owners rejoicing over her deliverance from this demonic stronghold, they alleged to the authorities that Paul and Silas were advocating customs unlawful for the Romans to practice.  It was actually just a case of sour grapes.  The slave girl earned money for her owners by telling fortunes.  That ability ended when the demon fled from the girl’s life.  The owners cared little about her mental and spiritual health.  Her worth stemmed from the ability to make money, nothing more.  And the same sad reality applies to the abortion industry.  The life of the baby pales in comparison to the almighty dollar.  If that’s not the case why commemorate “National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers?”  Why else would the pro-choice crowd commemorate a culture of death?  It’s really not about choice, it’s about cash…at least for entities like Planned Parenthood.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.”  Isaiah 5:20

God and Dr. Seuss Agree

In the early Spring of 2012, my wife and I lost a baby.  At 17 weeks of pregnancy, nurses listened for a heartbeat and found none.  It’s possible our baby passed as early as the 15th week, but our loss was discovered at the 17th because of a scheduled appointment and check-up.

Two days after the identified miscarriage, my wife and walked somberly hand-in-hand into labor and delivery, knowing this baby already rested in the arms of Jesus.  The hospital staff administered compassionate care and packaged a small take-home memory box, a memorial tribute to our little one.  Nurses tucked a copy of Baby’s footprints into a tiny cap.  Barely the size of a nickel, those feet now run and skip on golden streets.

Shortly after this ordeal, several of the teens at church viewed October Baby, a pro-life film.  At the close of the movie, a teenager posed the following:

“Why do some people say abortion’s fine because it’s not really a baby and others say they’re having a baby and are excited?”

That’s a great question.

I explained that organizations promoting abortion soften the controversial procedure by classifying the growth a “clump of cells” or by using the impersonal term “fetus.”  However, God’s Word contradicts our culture’s ideology.  Psalm 139:13-14 says,

“For you created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;”

After the teenager posed the question, I swallowed a gathering lump in my throat, and promised to bring a picture of the tiny foot prints, proving we’re talking about a human life and not a burdensome “growth.”

I seldom reference Dr. Seuss books for theology, but in this case I can’t help but quote from Horton Hears a Who,

“A person’s a person, no matter how small.”
